Via an unfortunate and yet fortuitous set of circumstances, I ended up with a solo recording session this week at Untapped Talent Recording Studio in Southampton with studio owner/producer Matt O’Donnell.

We recorded several musical ‘sketches’ that I’ve had kicking around for months, if not years. With one exception: this entirely self-indulgent wee rocker that I came up with that very morning.

It has nothing to do with either B.B. King or ZZ Top - which is why I’ve called it ‘B.B. Top’.

Perhaps it has something to do with Bronze (B.) Age barrow (B.) tumuli sometimes found at the top (Top!) of hills in Hampshire, Dorset and elsewhere…?

Turn it up loud and annoy your loved ones and neighbours.
